Double Dhamaal has opened to a brilliant response all over at the Indian Box office. The opening on Friday was good, Saturday witnessed a spike and on Sunday the collections were at its best.

- Day 2 – Saturday – 8 crores (about 7.5% more than Friday)
- Day 3 – Sunday – 9.75 crores (30% more than Friday)
- Total Weekend – 25 to 26 crores (approx)
The numbers above exceed expectations. According to our box office prediction, we predicted that the film will collect 25 crores if the word-of-mouth is good. Now, the spike in collections over the weekend clearly suggest that Double Dhamaal has been liked. What remains to be seen is, how well the Indra Kumar directed film sustains on Monday.
Made on a budget of 40 crores, it still has quite someway to do and weekdays will be very important as Double Dhamaal will lose plenty of screens this weekend with the release of 2 biggies – Delhi Belly and Buddha Hoga Tera Baap.
