Varun Dhawan’s Dishoom has topped television ratings for Hindi films released in 2016. The Rohit Dhawan directed film has beaten Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 3 by a margin of 22%.
The other big success on television this year has been Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi, also starring Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, which garnered television viewership of nearly 70 lakh people.
Arjun and Kareena Kapoor’s Ki and Ka was premiered on the 2nd of October, it’ll be added to the list next week when the television ratings are out.
The much-awaited premiere of the year will be Salman Khan’s Sultan, the world television premiere of 2016’s biggest blockbuster will be on October 15 – on Sony Max and Sony Max HD at 8PM Indian Standard Time.
Salman still holds the all-time record as far as BARC ratings are concerned. His last release, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, was watched by 2,51,19,000 (2.51 crore) which is more than the combined viewership of the Top 3 films this year.

Varun isn’t much popular star in interiors of the country and this much TRP IS Also because of small cities viewers.
Sultan is not a family oriented film like PRDP….. But surely sultan will top this year’s viewership by a 200% margin of Dishoom..
