Three legends of Hindi cinema are all set to bring three generations of Bollywood together. Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan assembled for a special Filmfare photoshoot to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema at Dilipsaab’s residence in Mumbai.
Dilip Kumar ruled the 1950 and 1960s with blockbusters like ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Madhumati’ and ‘Devdas’, Amitabh Bachchan was the box office ‘Shehenshah’ of the 1970s and 1980s with hugely successful films like ‘Sholay’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’, ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Deewar’ and many more.
And finally, Shahrukh Khan and his super-stardom during the late 90s with epic romantic films like ‘Diwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenga’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’, ‘Karan Arjun’ and the last decade with blockbusters like ‘Chak De India’, ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’.
It was Big B who revealed the details of the photoshoot and also shared a few pictures.
“Photo shoot with Dilip Saheb and Shahrukh for the cover of Filmfare – 100 years Indian cinema… threatening Filmfare to put out pictures” Bachchan tweeted.
“So for now just a few pictures of the day done at Dilip Saheb’s house for a photo shoot with him and Shah Rukh Khan for the cover of FilmFare, celebrating the 100 years of Indian Cinema” Amitabh Bachchan posted on his blog.

Hmmmm I Dont know if Dilip Saheb and Amit ji would like the idea of having their portrait devalued by kings presence but no doubt srkians wont mind as king is there in the background somewhere whether its shining Amit jis shoes or combing Dilip sahebs glorious head of hair but aslong as he is there hanging on then its a dream come true.

@shashank : If thats the case Abhishek Bachchan should be biggest star n all Hrithik’s hard work is due to his father who was an average actor. R u aware Srk was dependent on how many persons at the start of his career? Where is Aziz Mirza now who was his mentor n he launch srk in serials? Oh srk is busy receiving awards from numerous countries n running behind KJo n Yashraj.
@shashank Maybe you or another srkian genius /disciple can explain to me why the likes of Vinod Khanna, Jeetendra, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini and the Greatest of them all Big B, all of whom had more glorious powerful careers than Salim Khan and Tahir Hussain could not give their siblings the same Blockbuster Careers that Aamir and Salman have attained for themselves???
Come on Mr Shashank, you must have a reasonable explanation up your sleeve or would you concur that the only reason Aamir and Salman can still be going strong today after 24 and 25 years respectfully is entirely down to their own hardwork and dedication!!!
Stop harking on about srks entry into bollywood, who knows whose casting couch King went too to get a role in a film. We will never know but at the end of the day, no matter how big a helping hand you get film after film, its the audience who help sustain an actors shelf life- if you dont believe me then ask Abhishek Bachchan why people still wont warm to him like they did with his father or Tushar Kapoor or even Esha Deol or Twinkle Khanna. Shall we go on or will you accept that its talent the indian people appreciate and not godfathers.
