It’s very difficult to get good films, I’m excited about all four: Taapsee Pannu

Actress Taapsee Pannu, one of the few stars to make a successful transition from the South to Bollywood, is one of the busiest stars in the industry today.

Her first two films of 2017, ‘Running Shaadi’ and ‘The Ghazi Attack’ have released in theatres today. She also has ‘Naam Shabana’ at the end of next month and the biggie ‘Judwaa 2’ in September this year.

Talking about the film that she has signed, Taapsee says “It’s very difficult to get good films for us, so I am very much excited about all my films.. I am little nervous and excited as well. ‘Running Shaadi’ is very special to me and because of this film, I got to work in ‘Pink’. I am looking forward to seeing the audience’s reaction”

‘Running Shaadi’ is an entertainer, which Tapsee says is different from the kind of films that she has done in recent times.

“Until now you have seen me doing rough and tough roles, so now I want to see if I can also make the audience laugh. I am pretty sure this film will be able to bring a smile on everyone’s face.”

‘Running Shaadi’ revolves around a unique concept of helping people run away with the love of their life to get married.

  • U r absolutely right. It’s very difficult to get good films in bollywood if u are not a star kid coz those ones have good scripts from big banners served on their laps. U are really talented as an actress.

  • @Just Ketch, I don’t think that the star kids always get the best of the scripts, eg, Ranbir(Besharam, Bombay Velvet), Harshvardhan(Mirzya), Aamir Khan(D:3), SRK(HNY, Dilwale, FAN), Salman Khan(Jai Ho), Abhishek (All except Paa and Guru) and so on.
Everybody has his share of good and bad movies.
