Dhoom 4 Actor: Who would you want to see in the film?

There is tremendous curiosity around the star cast of Bollywood’s biggest franchise, Dhoom. The first film in the series released in 2004 and went on to be the biggest surprise hit of the year. Aditya Chopra then decided to cast Hrithik Roshan, who was at an all time career high after the super-success of Krrish. The movie went on to be a blockbuster and the highest grosser of all time.

Fast forward to 2013, YRF signed two of the biggest stars in the industry Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. The result was even better. Dhoom 3 went on to be the highest grosser in the history of Indian Cinema, not just in India but in the overseas markets as well.

Reports are now coming in from reliable sources at YRF that the fourth film will release much sooner, as compared to the third which took nearly 7 years.

While Aamir is unlikely to be repeated for the fourth instalment, Hrithik Roshan’s character of Mr A wasn’t killed in the second film. He could make a return to the franchise. Since the star cast and scale has always gotten bigger and better, there are rumours doing the rounds that it will either be Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan who will play the lead negative character. SRK has already announced to the world that he would love to do Dhoom 4, he was quite specific when he said Dhoom 4!

We think Akshay Kumar is a great choice too. How about Ajay Devgn or Ranbir Kapoor?

Vote and tell us. The results of the poll will be forwarded to Yash Raj Films!

Which actor should play the negative role in Dhoom 4?

  • Ajay Devgn hits out at fudged box office figures business By Faridoon Shahryar,November 27, 2014 – 11:25 hrs IST “I’ve heard people saying that how can a film’s collections can be like this because when we went to the theatre it was a shit film and the theatre was empty,” said Ajay Devgn in aBollywood Hungamavideo interview. Ajay was reacting to Aamir Khan’s reservations about inflated box office figures that have been doing the rounds in the film industry. “Earlier the figures were being inflated but the media used to keep quiet about it. Now even the media has started writing about it. Apart from media, now even the audience knows when a film’s collections are inflated. I don’t think people can fudge Box Office figures any more. There’s a lot of confusion that for a same film, 8 different figures are floating,” Ajay said. Don’t you feel that there should be a registered body within the film industry that gives out official Box Office figures and everyone follows it? “Eventually it will happen I guess. It should happen! In our country there are so many small centres which makes it difficult to collect figures from everywhere and put it all together. But that body has to be created and then they have to be in touch,” Ajay said. The ‘coveted’ 100 Crore club is no more coveted, especially if the budget of a film and the price at which it is sold to the distributors is astronomical. Ajay gives a better perspective by saying, “There is no such club as 100 Cr club where we have coffee or a drink together. The budgets have gone up. People were talking about 100 Crores but there are films that are not a success even at 100 Crores. A film should do business depending on what is spent on a film.”
