Dangal Worldwide Collections set to cross 900 crore today

Aamir Khan’s Dangal will become the first Hindi film to cross the 900 crore mark at the worldwide box office today. The film has collected around Rs 896 crore worldwide, which includes collections from markets like Taiwan and China.

The China business alone has touched Rs 149 crore and will cross the 150 crore mark today.

Dangal is certain to become the first Hindi film to cross 1000 crore worldwide and only the second Indian film ever – after ‘Bahubali 2’ became the first recently.

It’s a double celebration for the country as two films; one featuring arguably the biggest director across all film industries and the second featuring inarguably the most trusted superstar in the country today, a man whose name ensures quality films. It has to be noted here that Dangal is no magnum-opus and has been made on a much lesser budget as compared to Bahubali 2.

What BahuBILLU 2 did in its 2nd week with regards hindi collections isnt even historic… Dangal breached the 100cr mark in its second week thus becoming the 1st film to do so so who cares about which film broke that mark second or third etc etc…!

1st was Dangal and it was also the 1st film to earn 100cr in an overseas market in the first week alone…! Digest that you losers.

PS records like 3 idiots was 1st 200cr lifetime film and PK was first 300cr lifetime film are more memorable- these records matter more than which film came second in reaching a landmark…!
