Dangal destroys records at the box office on Monday

Dangal has plundered box office records on Monday. The film has recorded the highest non-holiday Monday of all-time and also destroyed the Monday collections of all other films of 2016.

To give the Monday collections some perceptive, Dangal on a non-holiday has collected almost as much as Rustom and Mohenjo Daro combined on one of the biggest days for film business in the year – Independence Day.

The collections are more than 4 times bigger than Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN earlier this year and 3 times more than another big film like Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 3.

It’s also nearly 10 crore more than what Sultan collected on its first Monday, which was its 6th day at the box office.

Aamir Khan, yet again, reigns supreme at the box office during the festive weekend of Christmas.
