Aamir Khan’s Dangal has crossed the 1000 crore mark worldwide and the film could challenge the worldwide record of Bahubali 2 – if it continues it record-shattering run in China.
Bahubali 2 will soon cross the 1300 crore mark worldwide, but the worldwide business of the film is likely to slow down in the next couple of weeks. But the trend of Dangal in China is extraordinary and the collections continue to improve.
The second Saturday collections was nearly 3 times more than the first Saturday. The film could more than double its China collections from here, which would mean Dangal is now targeting a 1500-crore worldwide total.
If it continues to outperform, Dangal could soon surpass Bahubali 2 by a big margin in the next few weeks.
It’s Aamir Khan once again, single-handedly leading by example for the Hindi Film Industry – amidst all the criticism that it is facing after the super-success of Bahubali 2.

Kudos to Aamir the only mega star of Bollywood. Bahubali 2 has advantage of hype created by Bahubali 1 but there aren’t any such advantage enjoyed by Dangal…(to be noted that Bahubali 1 did not open well in hindi belt-5 cr) that means simply Dangal is better film overall liked by masses.
But @IndiCine you should not counter your own data of top 10 hindi grossers. In your earlier data Krrish 3 was figuring in top 10 and now you removed it from the list. I understand you guys special love for khans ( reasons known to every one) but you can’t ignore other extremely talented actors like Hrithik Roshan. Be fair and unbiased than always promoting khans. I challenge you to publish an article on benchmarking actors based on their class talent and acting skills, appeals and sensitivities they bring in their characters..you will see that your 2 khans will be easily come at the bottom…Hai dum to karke dikhao???
Often Aamir has been criticised for doing lesser movie as compared to other superstars. But they won’t see how his films got huge success. Till now Bollywood didn’t had competition from South market but when Bahubali beaten every Bollywood film and become first ever 1000cr, You have only this man to stand and deliver. He is doing the same in china what Bahubali did in north market. Aamir saves Bollywood for continuous humiliation which could be more if any upcoming big star films disappoint. Today expecting 100cr from China, making Dangal to go pass 400cr in China and 1150cr ww.
Hindi language being our national language, we under estimated the power of Hindi cinema..bb2 is one time, no other movie can do this kind of business.

Aamir is a legend. It’s a known fact about him. The achievement of Dangal got so far is the outcome of humble posture of learning without any ego. Even the maker of Baahubali know the status of Aamir. It just ignorant fan of B2 making noise. B2 would’ve not come to this level of it’s not for Karan Johar. My personnel opinion is that North Indian embrace the Indian cinema without any qualms. If the South Indian have this mentality we’ll go no where. I hv seen both BB2 AND Dangal both are gem as far indian cinema is concern but Dangal the film in totality is beter than BB2 forget BB2 DANGAL is the best film i hv seen the whole year round. This movie is running in china because of its storyline. The true star of this movie is storyline n script. The way people on here are saying.
