Dabangg 2 Weekend Box Office Collections

With collections from various centres pouring in, Dabangg 2 has performed well on Sunday. The film has picked up by around 25% from Saturday, while a few single-screen dominated centres have managed to put up even better numbers.

1st Friday: The presence of Salman Khan and the Dabangg brand value drew audiences in hordes for the morning shows. Since it was a working day, afternoon and evening shows had lower occupancy. In North India, evening and night shows were affected due to extreme cold. All India Collections – Rs 21 crore nett.

1st Saturday: After the euphoria and excitement on Day 1, Saturday morning shows opened slow and remained steady throughout the day. Hardly any growth at multiplexes, while single screens dropped by around 20% from Friday. The India vs England T20 cricket match too resulted in lower occupancy for evening/night shows. All India Collections – Rs 19 crore nett.

1st Sunday: As per early estimates, Sunday is likely to be around 25-26 crore net. Decent growth in business, although the trade expected bigger numbers from a film released on a huge numbers of screens. Salman Khan’s last release, Ek Tha Tiger collected Rs 23 crore on it’s 1st Sunday (released on Wednesday).

Dabangg2 First Weekend Collections: 65-66 crore nett (approx)

Will the film remain steady on Monday (first weekday) or crash? The Christmas holiday on 25th will benefit the film, but the keenly-awaited India vs Pakistan T20 cricket match is also scheduled to take place on the same day. What sort of impact will that have on the film?

Sat: 16 crores
Sun will be 19-20 crores

1st weekend total will be 55 crores. which is still great But not 75 crores like it was predicted.

Dabanng-2 is clearly failing with multiplexes audiences.

Single Screens will definitely drop after India vs Pakistan series start.

@indicine, have you gone mad? D2′s 1st day: 18.75 crore. 2nd day: 17 crore, 3rd day 22 crore. Weekend 57.75 crore. You predicted its wekkend as 67 crore, now to prove ur prediction you are saying it 65-66 crore.
