Dabangg 2 has collected Rs 19 crore on it’s second day at the box office. The two day cumulative total is Rs 40 crores net.
- Friday – 20.98 crore
- Saturday – 19 crore
- Total – 39.98 crore
After excellent collections on Day 1, business at single screens witnessed a slight drop. Multiplexes across the country remained steady, although the expected jump in business for the evening/night shows didn’t happen.
The film is off to a good start on Sunday and should put up bigger numbers. The word-of-mouth is mixed and Dabangg 2 certainly isn’t carrying excellent reports like the first film did in 2010.
All eyes on Sunday and Tuesday (Christmas) now. Stay tuned for all the Dabangg 2 box office updates.

D2(3500 screens solo relese and ticket price hiked)= 3days : 19+16+18=52-53 cr
JTHJ(2400 screens not a solo relese diwali relese means laxmi puja affects)= 3days 12.50+19.54+12=45 cr
don 2 =3days 46.33 cr + 1.50 cr(tamiland telegu)= 48 cr
talaash=3days 44.8 cr
so,it stands that D2 has a lead so far but just of 4-5 cr with such a wide relese and brand value with cristmas relese so lets see the picture will be clear on monday and expect a huge drop seeing the trends.
