Imtiaz Ali, who directs Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming yet-to-be-titled film, has said “clashes are not a big deal” when there are so many films and only 52 weeks in a year.
His keenly-awaited film releases in theatres during the Independence Day weekend with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, which was earlier scheduled to release on June 2.
“There are only 52 weeks in a year and some of them have been taken away by other things and of course, there are more than 52 films. So, clashes are not a big deal” Imtiaz Ali said.
The filmmaker also said they haven’t yet decided on the title. The working title of the film was ‘The Ring’.
“The name of the film is not yet decided, we have some time. On August 11, the film is going to release. So we will announce the name soon” Imtiaz said at a film event.

Akki will thrash Srk-Imtiaj film.
Akki is a much bigger star than Srk currently. He has been given big hits consistently and has recently won National Award.
Akshay will win the clash no doubt. SRK is out of top 5 superstars currently.
Only one film i liked imtiaz film otherwise he is not a very special director

u release ur film in Canada becoz akki is Canadian so every Canadian will watch his film in Canada and will make blockbuster

Akshay didn’t do right by postponing TEPK to 11 august and involved in a clash with SRK’s big budget film.SRK will once again prove he is king of clashes.but he might miss a clean – hit once again which he is searching after HNY due to clash and heavy budget.

Some guy is too involved in his profession, some cool careless girl comes and changes everything. Things get complicated and they separate. And get back in the end leaving their jobs.

Still have a feeling that this movie will postponed and release on Diwali with G4 & SS. As the shooting is not completed and their next schedule will start perhaps after the IPL. May be they are not sure at the moment about release date. Whatever in both cases they will have to clash with big movies.

Hence, if Ring clashes with any other film then it will be a semi hit due to the free publicity…..and if by chance it gets solo release then another flop is confirmed…!

I mean if its a trailer then yes its okay 4 months is very very understanding but this has to do with the name of the movie that too a Shah Rukh movie and barely 4 months to go!!
