One of the most iconic songs of Bollywood is back! Varun Dhawan is seen recreating the magic of Salman Khan’s ‘Chalti Hai Kya 9 Se 12’ from the 1997 film ‘Judwaa’. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu replace Karishma Kapoor and Rambha.
The makers have kept the song promo short at just 100 seconds, which means the full song will only be a part of the film.

Disappointed !!!
Doesn’t work for me at all. Having heard the original one which was an enjoyable song, this one is a disappointment. Wondering what was the need to copy paste each thing of the original film; even the songs.
“Khai ke paan banaras wala” was a superhit Kishore Kumar’s song of the Big B’s movie “Don”. And when the makers presented a rehashed version of that song in the SRK’s Don, it turned out to be an average one in front of the original. Whenever you tinker with a song which is already loved by many, there is a risk of getting rejected. The reactions of many tell that the same has happened here.
Indicine continues to run high on emotions while presenting the Judwaa 2 articles and got emotional enough to introduce “Chalti hai kya” as “one of the most iconic songs of Bollywood”. Had they said one of the most iconic songs of Salman I would have agreed definitely but if we are talking about all bollywood songs ever don’t think so. When there ever will be a list of “most iconic songs” or “top 50 bollywood songs ever”,
that list has to be inclusive of songs starting way back from Raj Kapoor/Dilip Kumar era till today and that will be one tough list for any song to enter that easily.
Even Salman himself has delivered so many blockbuster songs in his career that this song might just be able to enter in Salman’s top 10 songs list or might even miss. He has delivered a number of blockbuster songs in movies like Main ne pyar kia, Baaghi, Saajan, Love, Hum aap ke hain kaun, Pyar kia ko darna kia, Hum dil de chuke sanam, Dabang, Sultan etc.
So better to call it a blockbuster song but don’t get emotional enough to call it “one of the most iconic songs of bollywood” just to up the ante for Judwaa 2.
Male singer voice is very bad in compare to old song which was brilliantly sung by Abhijeet in an energetic way.
i see these comments and I am so shocked that some of these people have no idea how good this trailer is. This movie is a sure shot 150CR. There has been such dearth of total entertainers that people are going to lap this up. Judwaa 2 is headed for SUPER HIT status, at a minimum.
And btw, this is coming from a salman fan.
Would love to forever get updated great web site! .
