Akshay Kumar’s “big expectation” films are usually flops. Even a decent script, good music, and talented co-actors cannot save a flick from his jinx.

indicine you should first thanks me for my accurate pred about kurbaan . i think that this film hass 99%chacnces of 55-60 nett but the dist share will be lower than that of wanted (37cr).but it will be more than lak(33cr). second biggest hit of 2009.
one more thing salman fans pls dont go to watch ddd for veer promo as it will be shown on news channels and internet from 25th NOV

First time i m confident that movie will do good in this year 2009…..Ya,i mean first time!!!I know CCTC will be not good ,blue also not that good …which turn out to be same!!!Now,i m sure as i was earlier in WANTED ,this movie will also do good business…AND For me after reading priyadarsan interview,saying that climax of the movie is best part of the movie and is copied from one hollywood movie doesnot know name …..BUT all i can say 10-15 mins climax will surely be best climax till the date for comedy movies!!!! Can’t wait more

i think we are overlooking paa . but paa has chances of grossing 40cr nett which will make it first blockbuster of 2009 and it will surely affect the collections of ddd

MY sincere apologies at least for my previous post and your statement that it will be a hit irrespective of how the movie is. The fact is that I have noticed a few things which makes me and many other AKshay fans quite angry

1. Every time an Akshay movie is about to release, fake critic aricles pop up on bogus sites/blogs bashing the movie even before the movie is released or available for critics to judge

2. Many fans of other actors especially Salman and Shahrukh who are completely ignorant of Akshay’s fan power in india spread bad word of mouth on the movie by passing fake comments on it.

3. Even genuine crtics from reputed media organizations tend to favor Shahrukh and Salman movies and always bash Akshay movies.

I am not a blind Akshay fan. I accept all his last four movies were bad. But one has no right to judge or impose his judgment on others of the movie even before seeing it.
ONE CAN JUST NOTE THE FAN POWER HE HAS FROM THE FACT THAT THOUGH KI AND BLUE WERE BAD MOVIES, THEY WERE GREAT GROSSERS AT THE BO EVEN IF THE FINAL VERDICT WAS AVERAGE TO ABOVE AVERAGE DUE TO BUDGET. BUT SALMAN’S LD WWAS AN EXCELLENT MOVIE WITTH VIPUL AS DIRECTOR AND AJAY AND ASIN AS CO-STARS AND STILL WAS A FLOP AND STILL NOBODY FROM THE MEDIA (NOT PEOPLE) QUESTIONS HIS STAR POWER. THIS IS VERY UNFAIR TO AKKI

every time i c it.. dey purposefully visit tat page and either say tat movie shud flop or s pathetic with no reason.

In one of the interviwes with Taran adarsh akshay did tell this..
“ppl r so happy if some particular actors movie flops. dey start msgin from d paid previews itself dat- are yaar movie bakwaas hai, flop hai and start laughing..” so from d next day media starts spreading false rumors bout d movie.

some critics dey dont even watch d movie but d reviews r out saying pathetic movie, crap, just dont go to watch it. etc..

Am really very sad to say some ppl here comment so badly. some even say dont go for akshay movies.
der r some who from d day 1 comment telling movie has 10% occupancy, its flop etc..;) even for hit movies like APKGK. ha ha.

This site has majority salman fans so its obvious, but wy spill negative comments on al others i still dunno.
With such hatred among ppl this world `ll surely end by 2012..;) ha ha

critics favours salman khan.thats a breaking news for me..@ab amish now who is fighting here..nd remember one thing if a movie is gud it ll work no matter wht critics said eg don wanted ..nd than why bhagambhag heybaby bhul bhulaiya welcum sing is king succeed..
