The first quarter of 2015 has been dull for the industry. The Top 5 superstars were missing from action, even though Ranbir Kapoor was seen in this year’s biggest Hindi opener ‘Roy’.
The biggest grosser of the year – Akshay Kumar’s Baby was also one of the most critically acclaimed movies of the year. The film fell short of the 100 crore club, but did well in major cities and circuits like Mysore.

Business wise only 3 movies (BB, PRDP and Dilwale) are biggest with uncertainty around FAN release. Brothers will be the next biggest movie. Bombay Velvet have received negative response to its trailer !!!!!!

first 100 crore grosser will be ff7 and in hindi movies gabbar has a chance if he misses bajrangi will be first 100, 200 may be 300 crore movie. all the best to rowdy and dabangg of hindi cinema.

dilwaale is a srk-varun double hero film like darr,karan arjun,k3g were.
It’s funny that Salman fans are having such high expectations from Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. That title itself is such a major turn off. Just because Hum Aapke Hain Kaun worked in 1994.. doesn’t mean a similar movie will work in today’s times.
PRDP will be the lowest grosser amongst festive releases this year. Bajrangi Bhaijaan will easily collect more than PRDP.
Gabbar is back will be the first 100 crore grosser of the year.. And as far as first blockbuster is concerned,I will definitely go with bajrangi bhaijaan
I am sure only abt one thing dilwale will touch 50cr opening day ….if it opens on holiday…….

@Phenom : There is no denying that all 3 Khans are biggest and their movies are expected to do huge with festival release. IMO, Rohit Shetty movies are kinda Farah Khan movies with added action sequences (blown cars n all) it may definitely get a good start but sustaining longer is not guaranteed. Same for BB (due to Masala genre) but PRDP will have a longer run due to Family genre. This is solely my opinion and I dont expect all to agree with it.

@Sunny Chechi, Fast and Furious should be treated like a overseas film. India theatrical rights was sold for a much lower price. To put it into perspective, the success of Fast and Furious 7 is bigger than a film like Aashiqui 2. And it was way more profitable than a film like Baby.
@ neeraj you underestimate prdp too much it is not similar to hahk, it is a different movies so you will be laugh at yourself after prdp the highest grosser of all time.
