Thanx for replying to my comments. I have been following this and other KI box office topics very closely on your and other sites but there is still differences and none are clear. So is it possible for you to give the first four weeks collectionx for KI for India, USA, UK and Dubai and also let us know the budget of the film. Let us(Akki Bhai fans) also know whether it is a hit, superhit, above average, average or flop film according to BO collections and budget and also the reason why so??

Just a comparison between two hyped films of 2 superstars. Both are good, depending on the content, some movies do well and some dont.. Stars cant be held responsible for poor films, if opening isn’t upto the mark, then probably you can question his star power.. KI opening was upto the mark, it didnt break records but did decent business..

And when you said, Akshay = Salman + Aamir + Saif + Shahrukh + Hrithik + whoever.. Just dont say it, prove it!

Here are numbers for you.. Comparison of few films from Mumbai (courtesy Achillies)

Ghajini – 11 crore
RNBDJ – 6.7 cr crore
Race – 5.8 crore
Kambakht Ishq – 6.2 crore

Singh is King was 7.1 crores..

Here are Delhi numbers..

Ghajini – 5.8 cr
RNBDJ – 4.4 cr
Race – 4.00 cr
Kambakht Ishq – 3.4 cr

Singh Is King was 4.8 crores..

As you see from the numbers above.. Akshay hasn’t managed to even break his Singh Is King record with KI.. Do some research before you speak..

first yu guys (reviewers) said this movie is trash then yuz said movie will tumble fumble and fall heavily from monday onwards. since VIEWERS have kicked yurz asses now yu’ve come and tryin to imply that it’l vanish in second week???

dear it doesnt balance out, if you go and read those replies, some of them AkKI fans and they havnt seen the movie and kind of disheartened after reading the reviews and leaving negative repliez. its like a chain reaction.

but gud thing is, as i said before, now audience knows wots this media is cookin up. media was successful damanging CC2C (which apparently got 45% tomatoes at rottentomatoes.com, and i’d prefer that website on any crappy indian website for reviews on any given day)

The easy way to differentiate between quality films and films that lack quality is very simple.. How it sustains in Week 2.. Jodha akbar, Chak De India and even Akshay’s Namaste London opened to average numbers (the opening week) and from strong word of mouth recorded strong collections in week 2, 3 and 4..

Anyways like we’ve said so many times, to each his own… There are quite a few who have loved RGV’s AAG too..

all are with different different directors not with the same.Akshay make all the director;s hit not hit director;s made akshay.

coming to outcome of RDADFADA and KI, budget doesnt matter. ppl dont see the budget before goin 2 the cinema. same number of ppl would have watched KI if its budget was less than wot it is now. so i dont see your point there. RADFAFADF may be low budget film cuz it was made in india, KI is made in hollywood.

SLUM DOG deserved OSCARS by any means, movie did great business before winning the OSCARS. that proves how genuine OSCARS are.

Numbers that you see are never 100% accurate.. Its just an approximate.. Could be higher, could be much lesser..

The only figures that are 100% accurate are those from UK..

By the way, 42.2 crores for Rab Ne were the official numbers from Yashraj..
