Every Salman Khan film in recent times not only managed to break into the 100 cr club, but literally smashed every record to make it to the Top 10 list of fastest films to 100.
Dabangg was the first film to cross 100 in 10 days, Bodyguard was the first to do so in a week (7 days) and Ek Tha Tiger managed to do the unthinkable – crossing the milestone in its first extended weekend (Wed – Sun).
When each of his films have been so successful over the last few years, the trade had unrealistically high expectations from Jai Ho. While the film has disappointed at the box office, it has still managed to cross the 100 cr mark in less than 10 days – faster than films like Agneepath, Rowdy Rathore, Jab Tak Hai Haan and Ram Leela.

‘Ghajini’ was the 1st movie to make 100 crores in 18 days in 2008 and now in 2013 ‘Dhoom 3’ was the fastest movie to make 100 crores in just 3 days and both r Aamir khan starrer so now the next challenge will be fastest 100 crores in just 2 days for upcoming movies ie more than 50 crores in a day which is looking difficult atleast for this year.
‘Dhoom 3’ is not only the fastest film to do 100 crores but also fastest 150,200 and 250 crores.
good to see a normal film CE of biggest star gave a huge competition to a big multistarrer addition with the biggest franchise.CE is the true winner with out having free run and huge screen along with so many big movie clashes.that is why SRK is called THE UNDISPUTED KING OF BOLLYWOOD.no body showing,no hair style doing,no supporting cast needing,still rules bollywood since 22 years single handedly.
@Indicine Team, why is the verdict of Jai Ho with 103.29 Crores in 11 days Average or Below Average? Distributors have invested 90-95 Cores and it earned 103.29 Crores? Haven’t they made profits? How do you give verdict for the films?
According to Taran Adarsh, “#JaiHo *actuals* Week 1 — 88.78 cr, Wknd 2 — 13.80 cr. Grand total: ? 102.58 cr nett. India biz only. Figures confirmed by Eros.” If you add 2.1 Crores, doesn’t it become 104.68 Crores in 11 days?
I am sure it will fetch around 20 Crores more. What will be the verdict then? Please answer!

Is #JaiHo A Flop? Its Weekend Collection was more than the collections of any other Amir or SRK film but for CE & Dhoom 3.
Jai Ho- 1) [Bad Timing of Release after X’Mas and New Year] An out and out non-festive and non-holiday release, 2) Widest Release, 3) Ticket Price 30%-40% lower than CE and Dhoom 3, 4) Some Section of People are Boycotting it. 5) Low-ranking casts but for Salman and film-makers, 6) A good qaulity-pirated copy of Jai Ho was leaked online and anti-Salman people encouraged others to watch the pirated movie. According to Hindustan Times, it lost 8-10 crores because of that.
CE and Dhoom3- 1) [Good Timing of Releses] Festive Releases, 2) Released in lesser screens, 3) Ticket Price: 40% Higher, 4) No one boycotted them, 5) High-Ranking Casts and Film-Makers.
Out of the above five-facts, only no. 2 is in favor of Jai Ho, while other four are against. And no.1, no.3, no.4. no.5 are in favor of CE and Dhoom 3, while only no.2 is against them.

2013 was an exceptional year,we had highly anticipated films like Dhoom 3 and Krrish 3 which were being waited for longtime,remember we had three years in between 2009 and 2013 where we did’nt got any 200cr movie..
so finally Jai Ho also joined the club, movies collection is disappointing but despite everything goes against Jai Ho except Salman Presence still movie made mark in the club in 10 days if we believe officials, as per BOI it collected 97cr and possibly collect 100 cr according to them on tmrw or can say 13days.
