Why do they remake Pokkiri Raja & cast just one star in it? The whole point of Pokkiri Raja was to bring together 2 big stars in a mass film.
People always complain that only masala films make money everywhere as against sensible
films eg dabangg vs udaan (india) avengers vs lincoln (united states) , my take is these so
called intelligent movie makers are not intelligent in business only intelligent in storywriting,
and storytelling. No one asks if the richest men in the world are the most intelligent or
most moral in the world, when it comes to films some commercial failures vent their
frustration on masala genre and its producers. I think these masala makers know their
audience and connect with them both in concept and distribution while the serious or
intelligent genre does not know its audience, let alone how to connect with them.
I think masala films are still performing below the mark commercially but have continued to
lead the way.
Recommendations – serious or intelligent cinema should target its audience and can also do
well, many of them do market products with some masala approach.
stop blaming your commercial underperformance on masala filmmakers or audience, blame
yourselves as u are commercially lazy.
I think like this if nonsense can sell, sense can sell even much more.

after long time akki did that high flykick that i was dying to see again. lookslike rowdy rathore character with khiladi style style action, impressed, akshay throws the best punch and kicks.
