• Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have returned the signing amount of Rs 25 lakhs each for Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ladies and Gentlemen.
• Giselli Monteiro of Love Aaj Kal fame, will have an item number in Sanjay Mishra’s “Pranaam Valekum”
• Vishal Bharadwaj has gifted Imran Khan a 500cc bike, so that he improves his bike riding skills, for his upcoming film Maatru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. The cost of the bike is said to be Rs 2 lakhs.
• Madhuri Dixit will be judging the 5th season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja.
• The controversial Bigg Boss 5 participant Pooja Missra enters Bollywood with an item number titled ‘Baaja Baja Dunga’.
• Rohit Shetty has said that he will start planning for the next Golmaal film after 18 months. He begins work on Chennai Express after the release of Bol Bachchan in July.
• Rumour: Sources say, either Deepika Padukone or Asin will be cast for Rohit Shetty’ next with Shahrukh Khan titled ‘Chennai Express’.

Box-office Update

• Ek Deewana Tha opened to a poor response all over India. The reports are poor too. Most likely – Flop.
• After a strong Week 1 of 32 crores, Ek Main Aur Ek Tu has held on strongly at select multiplexes. It remains the first choice in Week 2.
• Agneepath dropped in Week 3 with collections of Rs 5.5 crores.
