Delivering the biggest grosser of the year also means your movie is watched by the maximum number of people in that particular year on the big screen. In this day and age, with prices of movie ticket soaring, piracy and various options for entertainment (like television), it’s tough to bring audiences to theatres.

- Akshay Kumar came close to giving the biggest hit of the year as many as 4 times. Mohra in 1994, Welcome in 2007 were the 2nd biggest hits while Singh is King and Rowdy Rathore came 3rd in 2008 and 2012 respectively.

well if HSSH, No Entry, and Saajan were multistarrer then what about SRK’s OSO- It had Arjun Rampal and Shreyas. Karan Arjun had Salman. KKKG had Hrithik and Amitabh. If you saw HSSH, the whole movie focused on Salman. Sajaan was the only movie where he played a supporting role. Amir’s 3I has Madhavan and Sharman while Border has so many actors such as Sunil, Akshaye Khanna, and etc. The truth is, Salman is the most successful actor of his generation box office wise.
i think salman will break all records when KICK releases at the box office. Domestic could be 350 crore!

You are absolutely spot on dude. Totally unbiased and fair and true crediting of actors for all the movies. Though im a salman fan but i m not stupid guys to deny that anil kapoor was the leading man in no entry. He had the meatiest and longest role in it. Even fardeen khan had a better role than salman in it in terms of length but salman did not had a cameo in no entry. It was still a good role. Same goes for saajan where sanjay dutt was the main lead.
For rest of the movies, salman is undoubtedly the leading man.
BTW, im lol at that ‘mohnish behl’ leading man for hum saath saath hain. hahahaha

saajan maybe a salman starrer but he was clearly outperformed by sanjay dutt and another movie like no entry is not starring but anil kapoor is starring in this movie. show me one movie that Srk has been outperformed or outclassed????? any movie!!!! Aamir khan outperformed in jawani zindabad by javed jaffri and then dil chahta hai nearly outclassed by akshay khana or saif!!! salman outclassed by akshay in Mujhse shadi karogi!!! yes he is good on the screen and he may have big blockbusters but well actors like schwaznegger and stallone were big names but in terms of only action!!!
