Bhaag Milkha Bhaag Tax Free in 3 states

Bhaag Milkha BhaagFarhan Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and the entire team of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag have yet another reason to celebrate. Their film, based on the life of sprinter Milkha Singh, has been declared tax-free in three major states of the country – Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and now Delhi!

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit, watched the film on Tuesday and immediately exempted the film from entertainment tax.

Mehra, who directed the biopic, was elated by the news “What can I say? First Maharashtra, then Madhya Pradesh and now Delhi has granted ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ a tax exemption. I am humbled by the unanimous acceptance of the spirit of Milkha.”

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has already crossed the 75 crore mark at the domestic box-office, and looks set to be the 2nd film after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to cross the 100 crore mark.

First Week – 51.85 crore

Second Weekend – 16.5 crore

Second Weekdays – 10 crore (expected)
