Songs are an integral part of any Bollywood movie. Hindi Film stars are identified by the songs picturized on them. There have been many superstars who personally look into this department to suit their on-screen image and have their preferred music directors, singers and choreographers. Hence the decision was inevitable to start a new section which will feature one Bollywood Superstar every week and the list of his or her evergreen chartbusters.
We start the list with none other than the Baadshah of Bollywood ‘Shahrukh Khan’. To choose a list of 10 hit songs of SRK is an uphill task as he boasts of a song bank which consists of some of the most popular numbers of Hindi Cinema.
So here goes the list of 10 best Shahrukh Khan songs:
1)Tujhe Dekha Toh: This song from DDLJ became the amblem of all love songs. Sung by Kumar Sanu and Lata Mangeshkar, this evergreen melody was composed by Jatin-Lalit.
2)Jaadu Teri Nazar: This song from Darr remained at the top of every chart for months. Sung beautifully by Udit Narayan, Darr had music by the legendary pair of Shiv-Hari.
3)Are Re Are: This song from Dil To Pagal Hai became such a rage and its whistling tune is still one of the most popular ring tones for the mobiles all across India. Sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ had music from first time Uttam Singh.
4)Humko Humise Chura Lo: This melodious song, sung again by Udit Narayan and Lata Mangeshkar, featured SRK and Aishwarya Rai for the first time as romantic couple. Mohabbatein had splendid music by Jatin-Lalit.

5)Kal Ho Na Ho: This evergreen melody sung by Sonu Nigam is one of the best songs of new millennium. The number was composed by the trio of Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy for this Karan Johar production.
6)Do Pal : Can’t believe it. Top 6 songs and 5 from Yashraj productions. Veer-Zaara’s music is based on the old compositions of late Madan Mohan and had lyrics by Javed Akhtar. Beautifully sung by Sonu Nigam and Lata Mangeshkar, the song had SRK opposite Preity Zinta.
7)Sooraj Hua Madham: Beautifully filmed on Shahrukh and Kajol again in a mega multi starrer romantic drama K3G directed by Karan Johar. Sung by Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam, the song was composed by Sandesh Shandilya.
8)Ladki Badi Anjani: Here it comes. You cannot leave Kuch Kuch Hota Hai out, can you? Song comes when SRK and Kajol meet after 8 years in the movie. Sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik, debut movie of Karan Johar had music by Jatin-Lalit.
9)E Ajnabi: Maestro A.R.Rahman has given arguably his best music for SRK’s Dil Se. All the songs of the movie were classics.
10)Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai : Sung soulfully by Roop Kumar Rathod, this song from Rabb Ne Bana Di Jodi was composed by Salim Sulaiman. Anushka Sharma featured opposite SRK in this Aditya Chopra’s love saga.
It is a huge task to compile top ten songs of any superstar. I do regret missing out on some evergreen numbers especially Zara Tasveer Se Tu (Pardes), Tum Paas Aaye (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai), Tere Liye (Veer Zaara), Suno Na (Chalte Chalte), Ye Jo Des Hai Tera (Swades) and Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen (Baazigar).. the list of evergreen Shahrukh Khan songs are endless!
We just hope that we have done justice to all the musical hits of Shah Rukh Khan.
