Bang Bang has opened to packed houses across the country in its first extended 4-day weekend at the domestic box office. The collections are lower than Hrithik Roshan’s last release Krrish 3 which released during the Diwali weekend and also got a solo release. However, Bang Bang has performed much better than Krrish 3 in the overseas markets.
In India, Bang Bang has lost more than 10 crore of business to the other release last weekend, Haider, without which the film would have been somewhere around the level of Krrish 3 in 4 days.

Shahid has 4 hits in 10 yrs. Hr has 8 hits overall in his career. Amir has 7 since 2000. Bcoz of these , they have no fan following among masses. If they do a mass movie like dabang,singham ,, it will open even less than akshay kumar’s boss. #fact . Hr,amir,shahid are dependent on dream projects, raju hirani and big budget universal appeal movies too much.
The effect of clash and allocation of healthy screen count is not that a big factor overseas..hence Bang Bang has defeated KICK on all major overseas circuits like USA,UAE,UK,AUS-NZ,PAK…
Not sure about Malaysia though,coz @Anand watched kick 50 times atleast…
Krrish3 record is out of reach now..bang bang would collect around 125 crores in first week which is a good amount in despite of limited screen release even lower than singham returns in india nd highly critically acclaimed movie haider….it would collect around 170 crores means it would get easily achieve hit status…..
Bang bang will cross 200 crore till 3 rd weekend….as hrithik is a crowd puller…no matters what reviews it get….

I had predicted 180 crores for bang bang..but was praying that it earn more than 200 crores..but still it is going to be a hit movie…a must watch movie for action movie lover….3.75 star from me.

despite bb failure hro’s carrer success rate is abv 50% and he has starred in 8 big hits,1 critically acclaimed hit and 2 record breaking films(d2 and k3).he has also won best actor award 4 times and starred in 6 national award winning film.

Honestly being a hr fan I was hugely disappointed after watching bang bang(even my friends didn’t like it ) …the only positive in d movie was Hrithik. Sincerely hope dat HR does better movies, wich deserve him…if at all he wants to stay “mehfoos” in bollywood.
K3 was a better movie than bang bang in terms of content. But adults will prefer bang bang due to its entertainment factor. My friends liked BangBang.

Yes.Haider has affected collections of Bang Bang and will continue.From tomorrow Bang Bang collections will drop bcoz of Haider and lifetime collections of Bang Bang will fail to cross 200 crores bcoz of Haider bcoz Bang Bang has no senseless and illogical scenes like Dhoom 3 and Kick.Katrina has acted beautifully for the 1st time in her career and Hrithik performance is much better compared to what he did in Guzaarish.Script of Bang Bang is superb so it has good chance to get Oscar nomination this year.There r no loopholes in the story and even kids can understand the story bcoz it is very beautifully explained.Bang Bang can’t be explained in words bcoz it is a experience like watching Avatar. Overall Bang Bang deserve to cross lifetime collections of Dhoom 3 and Kick but will fail bcoz of Haider.
Hrithik Roshan is the best actor among all superstars of today as he is a combo of intensity,versatility and style.

@nipun @babaji ka thullu yupp… Agneepath was remake. It was guaranteed hit. Any other actor would have resulted in same collection. R rajkumar has prabhu deva. Any other actor in r rajkumar, it would have reached 90-100cr. Amir fan following became less after ghajini bcoz of no movies for 3 years.

Bang bang has collected very good amount in 4 days, though it could have been better if it had solo release.
@nipun when did I bash bang-2,why are you point out only me,I just talking about it critical expectation not about public expectation. Yes I agree there are too much unnecessary negativity surrounding bang-2, but there are also some flaws in content and that happen almost every big commercial film.
I think what went wrong with bang-2 in critics rating as this is the Knight and Day remake and mostly critics perhaps seen KND already. So comparison may be dent bang-2 rating because my friends who didn’t seen KND liked the film but those who had seen KND were not impressed.
Never the less Bang-2 will collect respectable amount but negativity will harm its about 15-20 cr max.
Regarding Martin Dsuza yes I have been following him from longtime, most of the time I found his review satisfactory but some Time not,he given bodyguard good rating as he liked the film and other reason is that he said its baseless to review Salman film as audience won’t care about it,that’s why he given ETT-5/5 andDabangg 2 4/5, while in other actor case I found his rating satisfactory but doesn’t mean I agree with him every time.
@babaji I also rated holiday 4/5 and for SR the reason was its falling collection after 1 week, is that 3 week earlier Kick had released who collected huge money in 2 week,so SR was expected to collect around 140-150 cr by most of the trade and fans but because film collected record opening day so expectation was more collection,but practically those who were interested in the movie they seen it but because of holiday weekend most of them watched in 3-4 days and also its wom wasn’t negative but because Ajay has limited stardom and its not matched with Prequal resulted the expected lifetime not more than that which should after first weekend.
I think bang bang collection is fantastic as it is what the makers expected… Only ppl in indicine including admins were over hyping the film… Some idiots were saying it could cross dhoom 3
