Bajrangi Bhaijaan continued to do well in its second weekend at the box office. The film has collected 13.15 crore on its 2nd Friday, to take its net box office collections to Rs 197.8 crore in India.
The overseas collections are also impressive as the film has grossed around Rs 86 crore in 8 days. The worldwide gross has crossed the Rs 350 crore mark and by the end of this weekend, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will be Salman Khan’s first film to gross Rs 400 crore worldwide.
Check out the day-wise box office collections of the film and even as you read this, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has crossed the 200 crore mark today, becoming the second Salman Khan film to cross 200 crore after KICK. What’s more, today also happens to be the first anniversary of the Sajid Nadiadwala directed film.

Drishyam too should be get postponed by a week so that one great movie should not get effected by the other and in doing so it would be a win win situation for both the movies as an extra week would mean that BB would inch that much closer to pk’s collections & on the other hand Drishyam would get enough screens (BB is expected to retain as many as 2200-2500 screens till the 3rd week looking at the response it is getting from the audience) so that it doesn’t get affected by the BB storm and not to forget the fact that both salman & ajay d are good friends.
It deserves all the success & much more and to all the salman haters let me reiterate it once again :

And it doesn’t end here , he is a source of inspiration , he is a ray of motivational light in their dark lives through both his movies & his personal life , I have seen people getting inspired by ‘jai ho’ & his charity foundation to do something to the society , to the poor & underprivileged , I have seen few autowalla salman fans not using unfair means & even giving free rides at times , they may be very few but at least they are getting inspired and of all the fans that I have observed i found salman fans to be most the bindaas, fun loving , entertaining, friendly , daring , caring, likeable, hearty & bade dilwala type , may be it’s got to do something with salman again!
He may not be the best actor of Bollywood but when it comes to sheer fan following & mass hysteria no one can beat him (probably only comparable to Rajni sir ), just forget the figures BB is going to collect at the BO at end of its run, the fact that the movie won so many hearts with indelible flurry of emotions & the very sight of the little angel Suzy crying in the video that went viral saying ‘i love u salman’ are so priceless that they can’t be measured by any amount of money or any number of awards, is there any other actor in Bollywood who is so lucky to receive such pure crazy love from fans????

Looking at 2nd friday collections it is sure that it will cross D3. With 3-4 open weeks 320 cr. was easy task and without Bahubali competition 350 cr. were also easy.

There are films who create first weekend and first week record each year but a record which belong to 3idiots was the second weekend and week collection which only cross by 2 films yet in last 5 & half years those are pk & d3, now BB is become first non-aamir film to cross 3i second weekend record, as the Friday is 12.75cr, Saturday will be 16-17cr and Sunday 20cr+, so a 50cr weekend on the cards and 80cr week 2 collection. So d3 record is gone and Salman will join 300cr club after Aamir. Seriously I was never expected that any film can touch 300cr mark this year but BB surprised all.
History repeat itself from last 5 Eid releases of Salman ended with 2nd highest grosser of all time.
1. Dabangg – 2 nd highest grosser after 3i.
2. Bodyguard- 2nd after 3i.
3. ETT- 2nd after 3i
4. Kick- 2nd after d3.
5. BB- 2nd after pk.
Similarly other outstanding record Aamir shares with Christmas. Last 4 release on Christmas and 4 all time grosser.
