PK is currently the highest grosser in all circuits. Dhoom 3 is the 2nd highest grosser in all circuits, except Mumbai where 3 Idiots takes the second spot. PK and Dhoom 3 are the 1st and 2nd highest grossers of all time.
Which territory is Bajrangi Bhaijaan expected to set all time records? Find out:
- Mumbai: Territory record will be touch as go, as the film has to collect more than 30 crore to beat PK. The circuit is contributing around 32% to the total, so the film has to collect about 100 crore more on all-India level to set record in this circuit.
- Delhi/UP: Bajrangi Bhaijaan will become the all time highest grosser in the territory.
- East Punjab: Contribution from this circuit has been a little more than 10%. So, it should go on to be all time grosser in East Punjab too, beating PK.
- Rajasthan: Has a chance, but record grosser in this circuit will be difficult.
- C.P and C.I: Certain to beat Dhoom 3, the second highest grosser in both circuits. Could match PK.
- Bihar: Will beat PK to become the highest grosser in this circuit.
- Andhra/Nizam: Bajrangi Bhaijaan has lost atleast 3-4 crore because of ‘Baahubali’. No chance of beating PK. Even Dhoom 3’s 18 crore total will be difficult (including Telugu version).
- Mysore: PK will remain the highest grosser by a distance.
- West Bengal: Outside chance of beating PK. Will be the second highest grosser in this circuit, ahead of Dhoom 3.
- Assam: Will become all time grosser, ahead of PK.
- Orissa: Has a chance.
- Tamilnadu/Kerala: Again, ‘Baahubali’ and other films affected business. No chance of breaking PK record.
If Bajrangi Bhaijaan falls short of the 340 crore total of PK, it will be because of circuits like Andhra/Nizam, Tamilnadu/Kerala and Mysore. It’s in these circuits that ‘Baahubali’ has been doing extraordinary business. Even otherwise, ‘Baahubali’ has cost the makers of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ about 15 crore or more on an all-India level.

One should not blame Baahubali if BB fails to beat PK record.
Makers of both BB and Baahubali had sealed their release date 2 years back.
They were aware of the consequences of this half-clash.
We need to applaud how much BB earns and not play blame games.
Whatever, Bhaijaan has proven that he is a BO numero uno. All hail Bhaiyya Bajrangi!! 300 Crores plus despite competition from Bahubali.

even though the collections of bb are extraordinay but just think wat it would have been without bahubali.. not only in india but overseas too.. even with such a huge n grand film like bahubali n the most hyped film all over the globe bb has broken records with ease.. there is no inch of doubt that bb would have easily broken pk’s record n would have easily grossed 650+worldwide.. even still bb has every chance to break pk’s record

i am from orissa .surprise but fact when any salman movie releases lyk last two kick n bb were released each n every theatre of orissa unlyk amir n srk they managed 80% n 70% theatres.whereas reginal movies hardly get 50% theatre.its only salman whose film are released in all theatres.

Looking at the way Baahubali has been performing I wonder if it merits a hindi holiday release next year…? Maybe not the big dates but even Republic Day weekend would do it great justice. Down south it should get a festive release for sure n a good screen count in north too.
now after 10 days bb’s overseas collection is 18million already beaten every srk movie n easily beat ce(19.42m) and mnik(22.8m) by the end third weekend.may reach 25m final.so it proved action movies hardly get audience in overseas.its genre n content works in overseas nt star.

i dont beleive in excuses lyk bahubali for bajrangi n ouatid,satyagraha(3 weeks)for ce.people who want to see the movie they will see.it doesnt matter.but festive release with higher ticket price n heavy promotion n chartbuster songs are matters for collection.
Disagree that Bajrangi is losing out because of Bahubali. When the wom is positive any film always finds its audience. Undoubtedly wom for Bajrangi is very positive, so disagree with the argument.
Remember, Avtar and 3Idiots too released within a gap of just 1 week and both of them became biggest grossers by a distance in for hollywood and bollywood respectively.
When wom is that positive, competition does not cause huge differences.
India Pakistan theme movies have always done better in Northern India compared with South. Numerable examples can be given in support of this again, one of them being Gadar!
On the contrary, it is Bahubali who has suffered a bit due to Bajrangi as its a dubbed film in Hindi and audiences usually have a prejudiced against dubbed films.
It is unbelievable what Bahubali is achieving!
