Bajrangi Bhaijaan has done well in its first weekend at the box office, collecting Rs 103-104 crore in 3 days.
The film has done outstanding business on Sunday, collecting around 39-40 crore, as per early estimates.
In fact, Bajrangi Bhaijaan would have comfortably crossed the 40 crore mark if multiplex business was at the same level as Saturday. (If the following day is a working day, business at late night shows tends to show normal drops, which was the case with Bajrangi Bhaijaan too on Sunday.)
Almost every centre, every circuit has done outstanding business. Including the South Indian and Mumbai circuit, which started well, but has grown from strength to strength over the weekend. Business has well and truly peaked on Sunday, which has helped the film cross the 100 crore mark in just 3 days.
Weekend collections of 2015 films. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has more than doubled the collections of ABCD 2. In fact, one Bajrangi Bhaijaan is comparable to the combined business of big movies like ‘Gabbar Is Back’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and ‘Baby’!
As things stand today, when it comes to box office, Salman Khan is the king of the Indian box office.

BB is still an average movie with good message. It will not age well just like other Sallu movies. Too much masala, too little effort put in screenplay development. Hint: P.K.
Hopefully, FAN and RAEES turn out more memorable and entertaining. I have no faith in other masala movie called DILWALE.

The trending is very similar to pk(BB had a holiday on sat, pk didn’t). If drishyam was to release a week later, it would have easily crossed 300 crore mark. Still has an outside chance though, if it holds well enough to retain decent number of screens in 3rd week.
