Varun Dhawan’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania is proving to be unstoppable at the box office. Inspite of competition from new films like the Hollywood release ‘Beauty and The Beast’ and other Hindi films like Machine, Trapped and Aagaya Hero – Badrinath Ki Dulhania managed to collect more than all the other films combined on its second Friday.
The film is likely to show good growth on Saturday and Sunday, which could take the 10-day total of the film to 90 crore by the end of its 2nd weekend.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania will become the 3rd 100 crore grosser for Varun Dhawan after ‘ABCD 2’ and ‘Dilwale’. It’ll be the 2nd 100 crore grosser for Alia Bhatt after ‘2 States’.
The growth for the ‘Dulhania’ franchise will be more than 30% over the first film, which makes the third film almost a certainty due to the good response that both films have got.
