Baby and Dolly Ki Doli
Sonam Kapoor’s Dolly Ki Doli hasn’t done too badly either. The film has been received fairly well by the critics, scoring a decent 54 / 100. However, the film has taken a disastrous start at the box office, giving it little or no chance of recovering in the long run. The costs are on the higher side for a female-centric film and it will be an uphill task for the Arbaaz Khan produced film to recover costs.

@sohail a guy can dream can’t he? I became a fan of Sonnam after Khoobsurat so i want her to feel some success as these type of woman oriented movies don’t come everyday. It’s success will lead other actresses like Katrina and Anushka to try woman oriented movies as well

@navin best director means those who make good movies and in my eyes, singham returns was the most overrated movie of 2014! Happy new year was scrap as well. PK is highly overrated as well.It was filled with sex scenes, sex jokes and a prostitute scene as well and was hailed as family movie. I can’t watch that with my family! Also, the topic was already done beautifully in the form of OMG. Sooraj-Salman haven’t made a movie in a while so we will have to wait to see. Right now this is the best pair as they have released 2 excellent movies very recently!
agree with IamBollywoodFan totally.. aamir -Hirani jodi best movie was 3idiots. SRK last gave a quality movie way back in 2007 & that was Chakde. Since den he is doing nonsense movies which are still doing gud business. So dont go by boxoffice success. quality needs to get importance. akki-neeraj jodi has delivered 2 highly appreciated movies in recent times.
I have never seen any movie getting 5/5 rating in my whole life. but for Baby, some critics have given 5/5 ratings.

BABAJI’s BABY Review:: Thoroughly Engaging but won’t blow you off!!
**** This Review contains SPOILERS,move ahead at your own risk****
Finally watched my most anticipated film of the year: BABY directed by Neeraj Pandey.And it was my most awaited film for a reason as the same director had given us two exceptional films in A Wednesday and Special 26.Both these films were engaging,thrilling and had a gripping narrative that will hook you through the entire duration.So does BABY succeeds in doing so? Let’s find out!
BABY starts off with a bang with few brilliantly choreographed action scenes and never loses pace throughout the first half or I should say the entire length.Baddies make a menacing introduction through some brilliant dialogues.Akshay’s scenes with Madhurima are well shot and adequately timed,will not make you impatient for the main story.First half has some kickass dialogues but the story wavers and is’nt clear as to what’s going with the intoduction of so many characters.However there are some scenes that standout such as Akshay interrogating Taufeeq,Maulana’s intro.
Second half begins briskly with Tapsee and Akki in nepal,Tapsee shines in her limted role.Definitely one of the best moments of the film.The pace is never down,the thrills are there in almost every single frame.Anupam Kher enters the film in the second half and provides much needed comic relief.Akshay delivers one of his best performances,right from the first scene his absolutely brilliant but what let me down is the climax,though most critics have liked it.It seem rushed and things went too easily their way.If you have watched Argo,you will be left a tad disappointed with the climax.It is weaker in comparison and has every chances to leave you upset.It will be predictable for you.SPOILER***:I could’nt understand why the Saudi Police officer let them fly off when he was shown inspecting so seriously!
Overall a must watch as these kind of films are not made everyday in bollywood,it will keep you engaged and hooked at the edge of your seat throughout but a better climax would have made it a great film.Sometimes keeping too high expectations results in you leaving a bit disappointed something that happened with indicine at the time of PK.Definitely it is’nt Neeraj’s best work.I will rate it less than A wednesday and Special 26.

Akshay is fantastic throughout.one of his best performances.
Great support cast in Danny,Tapsee,Anupam and Rana.
Villains does geat job.
Action scenes are realistic,one of the best in a bollywood film.
Beautiful locales and great cinematography.
NEGATIVES:
Story is unidirectional and is’nt multilayered.
Climax is a letdown if you have seen Argo.
No major twists,it’s quite predictable.

While seeing many reviews on sites I come to conclusion that baby is nowhere close to A Wednesday (which I say its wrong to expect same from Neeraj pandey) but is it close to SPL 26 or better can know after watching the film.
Though Akki and Supporting cast was appreciated by all the reviewers but story reaction is mixed.

Overall as per Indicine meter baby rating is 67/100 from 22 reviews and PK had 76/100 from 22 reviews, as per Billy movie reviews PK stand at 4/5 from 14 reviews so baby finished under 3.5/5 so this is about critical Rating.Now pk is highest grosser of all time it is happened when pk had huge expectation after 3i and even it wasn’t great compare to that still became biggest grosser till date.So you are no one to call PK overrated.
Enjoy baby dude and please don’t compare Aamir-Raju who had two ATBB critically acclaimed commercial entertainer with Akki-Neeraj whose 1 film is critically acclaimed and baby will join if public appreciate it like SPL 26.Basically you can’t compare these two pairs as bith Raju and Neeraj are expert in their filmmaking.
Enjoy Baby success dude rather than degrading some one hard work which appreciated by many people.

Just watched the movie after convinced by IMDb rating 9.2/10. But alas! Looking like Ajay (AkshayKumar) is god. Wherever he went, whatever he did winning was always with him……so ‘free advice’ you can expect no thrill, every trip for him is success one….
