Baaghi has collected Rs 38.58 crore in its first weekend at the box office. Like we’ve mentioned in our previous reports, the collections are outstanding for a film starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
The trend is excellent too with the film showing a slight drop of 7% on Saturday (normal for such films), but the growth of nearly 40% from Saturday to Sunday is extraordinary.
The Sabbir Khan directed film is also the first Hindi film of 2016 to actually perform well at smaller centres.
Baaghi has recovered almost all its investment in its first weekend at the box office. The film is the 5th clean-hit of the year after Airlift, Neerja, Kapoor & Sons and Ki & Ka.

And it has two open weeks. If it can continue trending well then should cross Neerja/K&S and can challenge Fans collections too. But will have to first see how big the drop on Monday.

Watched Baaghi after the latest episode of Game of Thrones. Great action by Tiger. He will be a massy superstar.
The weekend collections are outstanding . Tiger is making a really strong impact . I don’t think any youngster had such a solid start to his career in this decade . I still don’t like Tiger but I have to admit he is generating solid Box Office numbers and creating new fans especially among masses and female audiences . @ Indicine On Saturday you said the first day collections of Baaghi are 11.87 CR but now it is 11.94 CR . Why is there a difference of 70 Lakhs ? Please confirm whether these numbers are correct or not ? If yes than why did you posted 11.87 as the official figure of 1st day’s collection ?
Tiger is a good action since most of the stunts he does them by himself,but he should improve his acting,coz he already has mass apeal and screen presence.

Good one but this kapoor ,roshans,shroffs,Kumar’s come and go but Khan’s remain stand still for 25 years this shows how they dominated industry.
Even now if you ask a small kid who is your fav Bollywood star he says Salman or srk but very least say other star names .this shows they can still dominate easily for more 10 years
