The theatrical trailer of Milan Lutharia’s ‘Baadshaho’ is out. The film is a period action-thriller set during the Emergency days back in the 1970s. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Sharad Kelkar, Esha Gupta and Sanjay Mishra in the lead.
Story: Baadshaho takes us to the emergency era of 1975, when there was political unrest in the full country. When Rani Gitanjali’s (Ileana) palace in Jaipur is raided for gold, she is arrested for withholding it without declaration. The government seizes the gold and decides to transfer it via road to Delhi in a truck with officer Singh, a cocky cop in charge of the whole operation. The story takes us through a thrilling journey between Jaipur and Delhi, along with various obstacles, secrets and revelations. It explores the relationships between these characters amongst fun, banter, deceit, betrayal and loads of drama.
The film, which is said to be based on real-life events, releases in theatres on September 1 2017.

It means, the correct line is “woh ishq hi kya jo salamat chodh de” i.e. “love can’t be safe or if you are safe in love that mean it’s not love”
Btw kickass trailer, always been a admirer of Ajay intense acting skill but this time i am impressed from Emraan too. Baadshaho will be huge in single screens and definitely a success in worst case.

Ajay is gonna get 2 100 Crores grosser for sure this year! This is the film that the masses have been waiting for the whole year. They haven’t got a single movie that suits their tastes and all the big films have been disappointments (except Raees, which was 7 months ago). This will be a riot in single-screens with seeti-maar dialogues and faadu action.
First Day- 13 Crore (+- 1.5 Crore depending on whether they can mantain the buzz uptill the release)
Weekend – 52 Crores ((If WOM is positive, otherwise with average-decent WOM too, 45 Crore is a certainty)
Lifetime – 102 Crores (If WOM is positive, otherwise with average-decent WOM too, 80 Crore is a certainty)
And if Rohit Shetty delivers a completely entertaining film in Golmaal Again, then it is sure to shatter the box office with huge collections as it will be practically a solo release in single screens (Secret Superstar is a WOM based, multiplex film) and we haven’t got a good masala film for like ages now. Lifetime is very hard, with negative WOM taking it to around 100 Crores and positive can even soar it above-around 200 Crores. My personal prediction is 170 Crores and it will change after watching the trailer, which is expected in a month’s time.

65-70 crs max. washout in multiplex. Though I prefer Ajay in such intense roles, rather then the joker roles in comedy movies. Family audience will stay away because of the steamy scenes and Sunny Leone.
