Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge Box Office Collections
The Paresh Rawal – Ajay Devgan – Konkana Sen Sharma starrer Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge opened to a decent response at the box office during the weekend, with business best at single screens and slightly on the lower side at multiplexes.
The weekend collections is approximately around 8 – 8.5 crores, as the film picked up after a slow start on Friday. The youth have stayed away, while the film is being appreciated by the older generation. Too early to write it off just yet, as small budget family films do take a while and with good word of mouth, sustain better.
Big Cinemas on Monday (Womens Day) gave away free tickets to women, which to an extent affected the collections of the film. It was a pretty smart move by the Anil Ambani chain of theaters, as not only did it bring in the audience, the multiplexes made enough money through Pepsi and Popcorn sales.

but indicine 8 cr were till Sunday afternoon. movie picked in evening shows.
btw u liked this movie and this is Flop. audience don’t have interest in situational comedies . they love akshay’s slapstick comedy and it will proof on 30th April.

hey nauman , i have visited ur site its good and fast but u shd not be promoting ur website by degrading the efforts of indicine from where u learned writing the reviews .
anyways Atithi wasnt a situational comedy . it was more of a drama film with few comic situations so u cant compare it with Slapstick, although even i like AKKI’s movie except De dana which i didnt like much becoz of smaller role of AKKi .
anyways keep up ur work . ur site is good . i hope the sections under construction get constructed soon :)

@ Nauman
Relax yaar. You seem to be having a go at Indicine all the time. Am also liking your website.
@ Indicine – where are all the users. I miss them. I did prefer the previous version, only because of the colour. Now, you are bringing great articles etc, but there is hardly anyone to discuss it.

this film will not work bcoz its not funny…the ntitle gives away the story.. whereas golmal dhamaal chupke chupke do not reveal the plot ..it will flop naturally ..do not get excited .. as it is not such a great film
