Apple India has finally launched it’s iTunes Music and Video store in India. iPhone, iPad and iPod users can now download music and movies legally through the iTunes store with one-click purchase and instant download.
Pricing is quite competitive too. Individual tracks are priced starting from Rs 12, while entire albums range from Rs 72 to Rs 300 (depending on the number of tracks).
Movies can be purchased or rented in two SD (standard definition) or Full HD (high definition). The SD version is about Rs 100 cheaper and quicker to download. The video quality will be poorer, but given the time it takes to download/stream a FULL HD version, a lot of people might opt for SD.
A lot of Bollywood movies like Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 490 Full HD), Don 2 (Rs 390), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Rs 290).. just to name a few are available for download.
