Actress Anushka Sharma, the lead star of Salman Khan’s much-awaited Eid release ‘Sultan’, has been training hard to play the role of a wrestler in the film.
Even though the makers were said to be on the hunt for a new face, it was decided at the very last moment that Anushka would be approached for the role. The decision meant Anushka had to work out her dates and she officially signed to play Salman’s heroine in the first week of January.
Since then, the ‘PK’ star has been training to get the wrestling moves right. Her co-megastar also plays the role of wrestler.
“Anushka has been training with a team of wrestlers, who have been brought down from Delhi for a six-week period. They will help her get into the skin of her character. They have been training with her for four hours every day” a source said.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who has previously directed films like ‘Gunday’ and ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, Sultan releases in theatres during Eid this year.
