There are reliable reports coming in that Yash Raj Films’ has signed Anushka Sharma to play the female lead opposite Salman Khan in Sultan.
The official announcement is expected to be made soon.
If true, it would be a fresh pairing, because Salman Khan has never shared screen space with Anushka Sharma. It would be one of the biggest films of Anushka’s career too, after Rajkumar Hirani’s PK.

I can’t understand why Yash raj always sign the same 3-4 actors & actresses for back 2 back films.
If you take Gunday’s actress Priyanka (whose favorite actor is SRK) or you take Anushka ( whose favorite actor is SRK and was launched by SRK) or even you take Veer’s / jai ho’s actress Zarine, Daisy ( who was launched by India’s worst, biggest struggler & non actor and now doing half porn films like HS3 ) still the movie ( sultana aka gunday 2 will remain a shit ) & fortunately ”actress” can’t change the script, direction or the main lead non actor’s ( non actress’s ) acting in the film .
Salman tried alot to do film with the actresses launched by King Khan like Deepika but she rejected, kicked him countless times for actors like Ranbir and Ranvir or even Arjun and now he jumped to another actress launched by King Khan, Anushka but she couldn’t kicked him bec of YRF. i feel!
