The first look poster of a film titled ‘ANNA’ is out. It’s a biopic on Anna Kisan Baburao Hazare, a social activist who led movements to promote rural development and worked towards increasing government transparency.
At the poster launch of the film, which was graced by Hazare himself, the social activist said he has no political ambitions or interest in publicity. He also said, he has no relations with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who joined the ‘Anna Hazare movement’ and later went on to form the ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ – which went on to form the government in Delhi twice.
“Now I have no relations with Arvind Kejriwal. I don’t know what is right or wrong but it hurts me whenever I read about him in newspapers” Hazare said at the launch of the movie poster.
Directed by Manindra Jain, ANNA has been directed by Shashank Udapurkar.

Biopics have become a fashion now.
Are the audience really in a mood to know about Anna ji.I guess not.
Except Milkha Singh all the biopics released have failed.The reasons for its success was that people rarely knew about his achievements and his personality.
A biopic on Dhyanchand or Lal Bahdur Shastri would have been a good idea rather than Anna ji.
Good one and seems interesting.
But I think now the film makers in Hindi Cinema are now in serious hints for more and more biographies of famous people to make films until they over do it and until it does out.
So, they should stop overdoing biopics.
so many Biopics since most of them have worked,i guess i will a whole lot more of Biophic films,but my favourite is still NEERJA.
People hate Anna for giving Kejriwal.
Anna might be a good man but making a bio-pic out of his life is a bit too much.
Biopic on Mr. Narendra Modiji would be a better choice . Anna’s life story would be also interesting. Hope for the best.
