There are reports doing the rounds that Amitabh Bachchan has opted out of Vijay Krishna Acharya’s upcoming action film ‘Thug’.
The reason for Bachchan moving out of the film is the numerous delays, including quite a few script changes. The actor supposedly has other offers coming his way and the uncertainty that continues to linger around ‘Thug’ could affect his schedule and dates.
Meanwhile, Hrithik will be busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and shooting for his January 2017 release ‘Kaabil’. Reliable sources have said, Hrithik isn’t yet completely convinced with the script of ‘Thug’.
Vijay Krishna Acharya is the director of ‘Dhoom 3’.

Even though Dhoom 3 was good, the directors past ventures are pretty average. Tashan was not at all good, so I kind of understand sirs cynical behaviour. We all haven’t read the script……..so who am I to judge not knowing anything about this film. Common scenario I have seen is that some directors give good films when they work with khans.(Farah Khan,Kabir Khan,Abbas Ali Zafar,Vijay Krishna etc.)
Hrithik in his interviews says that If ur every cell of body don’t supporting you when u read the script…Reject the script..If Thug is not convencing enough to excite hr…Then Hr must reject it..
Also,Vijay krishna archarya is a not good Director…his pathetic dhoom-3,tashan..
it is based on the highest selling novel of some some particilar year ‘the confession of a thug’ so the content will be definately great and for action scenes hrithik is there, he never dissapoints

I like Hrithik Roshan but some of his fans on Indicine are very annoying. They throw around numbers just like that 250 cr…300 cr..etc as if it is a cake walk for him.
100 cr is still a big deal because the highest grossing non holiday film is YJHD at 190 Cr.
If a Megastar like Salman and Aamir needs many holidays and strong WOM to reach 300 Cr then it is impossible for Mohenjodaro to collect 300 Cr even if the WOM is excellent because of following reasons
1. Clashing with Rustom. Even if Rustom fails it will loose some crores.
2. 1 open week Happy Bhaag jayegi arriving on 19th August ..screen loss.
3. Flying Jatt also releasing soon after Happy Bhaag jayegi
Here is a humble request to Hrithik fans please be realistic and stop throwing numbers like 300 cr ATBB etc….the best case senario looks 180-220 cr. Thank you and Peace out.

Don’t want Victor to direct Hritik. Victor is an awful director, Dhoom 3 sucked. It would have flopped if not for the franchise connection. Hritik does fewer films, I don’t want to see him waste his time on this talentless hack.

Where was the script – Kites, Guzaarish, Bang Bang… HR baby Papa will make another Krish 4,5,6…..45 till you’ll be 65… And I bet on Sanjay Gupta’s direction there won’t be any content in Kaabil either, must have copied some Korean or hollywood movie… Good luck and get ready to be slammed by Akki…
@yerfada dhoom 3 would have been flop if it didn’t have a megastar as big as aamir khan. I don’t want to bash hrithik because he is one of my favorite actors so don’t force me to bash him. But shut your dumb mouth and don’t bark your jealousy towards the biggest megastar of the country.
Why has Mr. Bachchan opted out of Thug? To do 10 more films like Teen, Shamitabh and Bhootnath Returns which nobody notices when they release? No offense sir but an actor like you deserves only bigger projects like Thug.

If it is really based on a novel called ‘Confessions of a Thug’, then it must be special. It was published in 1839, but movie is said to be set in present time. This novel was the best seller of 19th century in Britain. I also wish YRF had chosen a better director than Victor to helm this project, but there’s really shortage of worthy directors who could direct such huge projects. I can’t think of any big Bollywood director today who might be just perfect for it. Who knows Victor may surprise everyone? We’ll have to wait and see. Dhoom 3’s biggest flaw was its script, he’s getting a well received novel for this one, so it’s a plus.
I’d love to see them together once more, though.

Then let me tell you gawaar, that dhoom 3 is the only ATBB in the dhoom franchise. Dhoom was just a hit, dhoom 2 was a blockbuster and dhoom 3 was All Time Blockbuster. It was also ATHG. And tell me how many ATBB Raju hirani has given? Answer is none. Munnabhai MBBS was super hit and Lage raho munnabhai was blockbuster while 3 idiots and PK were All Time Blockbusters and ATHGs. So buzz off. Raju HiranI needed the biggest megastar in his film so 8t can get widest reach possible and can be watched by billions of people. Raju HiranI can not give such huge All Time BLOCKBUSTERS without Aamir. So keep your mouth shut. I said before I have nothing against hrithik and I like him so don’t force over there and stop passing me off. Wait for Dangal and see how big havoc it creates at box office. No doubt salman is the 2nd biggest superstar after Aamir and I am well aware of that.
