Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in 2 States (Photo)
Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel ’2 States: The Story Of My Marriage’ will finally be adapted into a Bollywood film. Ishaqzaade star Arjun Kapoor and Student Of The Year actress Alia Bhatt have been signed to play the lead roles.
Arjun will be playing a Punjabi guy, while Alia plays a Tamilian girl. The shooting of the film began yesterday with a wedding song.
2 States, directed by Abhishek Varman, will be co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar.

Ayushman & Shruti Hassan would have been the perfect cast for this movie as Ayushman looks like a typical Delhi boy and Shruti is a born tamil.BTW Alia Bhatt looks too young to play the IIM girl role.
