Akshay Kumar performs to a Hrithik song

Most actors in Bollywood, usually prefer to perform to songs from their own movies, especially when they have several chart busters to their credit. But at the 53rd Fair One Filmfare Awards, superstar Akshay Kumar performed to ‘Khwaja Mere Khwaja’ from Hrithik Roshan’s recently released epic love story Jodha Akbar.

A close source of the actor says “Akshay is very religious and makes it a point to visit Vaishno Devi every year. But somehow, every time he plans to visit the Ajmer Sharif dargah, his plans get cancelled. By performing this number, he hopes that his dream of visiting the dargah will finally come true.”

It would be interesting to see if Akshay has done the sufi twirl, that was brilliantly performed by Hrithik Roshan in Jodha Akbar.
