Akshay Kumar 2013 Movies: Upcoming Films

Akshay Kumar BossWith universal hits like Rowdy Rathore and Housefull 2, and critically acclaimed successes like ‘OMG Oh My God’ and ‘Special 26′, Akshay Kumar has been enjoying the best phase of his career so far. With 4 releases in 2013 (including Special 26), the Khiladi of Bollywood is one of the busiest actors in the industry today.

Below is a list of upcoming Akshay Kumar movies in 2013.

1. Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again (Release Date 8th August 2013) – From the makers of ‘The Dirty Picture’ comes the most-awaited release of 2013, a crime thriller featuring Akshay Kumar as underworld-don Shoaib Khan. The Milan Luthria directed sequel has been in news for it’s much-hyped clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express during EID this year. OUATIMA also stars Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonali Bendre.

2. Boss (Release Date 18th October 2013) – The success or failure of a director’s previous film has never been a problem for Akshay Kumar. He backed Nikhil Advani after the failure of Chandni Chowk To China and signed Patiala House. Now, he has done the same with director Anthony D’Souza, who’s first film ‘Blue’ didn’t do too well at the box office. Boss is an out-an-out masala action film, and Akshay has filmed some of the toughest action sequences of his career. The film releases in theatres 2 months after OUATIMA.

Akshay has also signed two other films that will release in 2014 – Remake of Tamil blockbuster Thuppakki titled ‘Pistol’ directed by A.R Murugadoss of ‘Ghajini’ fame and a untitled TIPS film with Sajid Farhad.

Well boss’s budget is not so high so it will also be bb. And ouatim2 is sureshot bb. And also due to talented actor ar.m. i’m sure pistol is also bb. And as of gutka, it is produced by dharama productions, and also stars emraan so i think it is also bb. And hf3 as a product is also bb. Hmmm. I hope akshay also rule like salman. I admit salman give 5 bbs and i hope akshay also give more bbs successively.

My predictions for akshay’s upcoming movies.
Ouatim2: 150+ cr(due to clash if clash dosent happen than 170+ cr)
boss:really depend on music and content. If content is good than 140+ sure. If 2 open weeks 150+ cr for sure.
Pistol: as you no a.r. Murgaddos is faboulus directer. So it will be sure shot 180+ cr (ot is releasing next year so ticket price will be high)
ramesh taurani’s next: i cant say anything but 160+ cr.
Gutka: 200+ for sure (releasing end of next year when price will be high and akshay’s stardom would have been increased)

akshay has very good line up,for this year and next year.
but he has to take care of release dates.
if hf2 and rr were holiday release, atleast they will add 20 to 30cr what they collected actually.

Askhay Kumar Playing a Joker in OUATIMA. Though successful he is not as Big as Shahrukh Khan. SRK is more versatile then Akshay Kumar and SRK has most numbers of awards, most numbers of blockbusters, much more than Akshay Kumar

Waiting for OUTIMA. I’ve watched Tuppaki. It’s a great movie. If the makers do it well without damaging the original script “Pistol” also has good chances of winning the box office race. Have no idea about other movies.

‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Again’ should be a good movie in terms of story and direction. I can’t say anything about ‘Boss’ and ‘Pistol’ after the failure of Himmatwala.
