Back in the 90s and early 2000s, Ajay Devgan was always a consistent performer and occasionally delivered a few hits. But the National award winning actor was never a major crowd-puller. The turning point in his career came in 2010, when Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Golmaal 3 and Rajneeti did record business at the box office.
Since then, Ajay has featured in several hugely successful films like Singham, Bol Bachchan and Son Of Sardar (which clashed with a major film like Jab Tak Hai Jaan).
His latest release, Himmatwala, has turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of the year so far. The first week collections of the Sajid Khan directed film was lower than some of Ajay’s last few ‘mass-entertainers’ like Singham and Bol Bachchan.

What if he is not a crowed puller like salman or shahrukh but he still is a superstar and if ajay struggle to cross 100 crores then every other actor also struggles only salman crosses this easily but after that salman also struggle to cross 150 crores, and some if them of you said that ajay needs good script, director, music to take his movie hit tag, even every actor needs good script

Kabhi-kabhi bad content ki wajah se film nahi chalti toh kabhi-kabhi Akrosh Aur The Legend Of Bhagat Singh Jaisi most sensible filmein bhi nahi chalti , yeh India hai dosto . And Yah , Akshay and Ajay both are Superstars Friends they give 3-4 hits per year . not like srk makes only one unsensible film per year and struggles to get hit status everytime . Ajay And Akshay both are bigger Superstars than Srk.
