Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani Wave continues, beats Tum Mile

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani has remained rock-steady during its second weekend although the mind boggling collections of Hollywood release 2012 has affected the Rajkumar Santoshi directed film to a certain extent.

With collections of around 12 crores (all India nett) over the weekend, the film should settle for Hit – Superhit status by the end of its run. With Kurbaan followed by De Dana Dan releasing in the next 2 weeks, a ‘Blockbuster’ is unlikely.

Yet the film has exceeded expectations with Rs 52 crores (nett) in 10 days, with the average per-day figures working out to a fantastic 5.2 crores.

Ajab has also quite easily beaten the 8 crore nett weekend of Emraan Hashmi’s Tum Mile.

Pathetic movie with no story. not expected from the class of santoshi. I am biting my words which i have written after watching the trailer of this movie. Only good thing about the movie is music and Ranbir’s act.
Spot on review by Indicine but i differ on stars it deserve only 2 stars.

IN WHICH WORLD YO ARE LIVING INDICINE . 2ND WEEKEND IS APPROX 10 CR AND 10 DAYS TOTAL STAND AT 47-48 CR. I KNOW THAT INDICINE IS VERY NEW IN THIS FIELD AND YOU DONT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC MEASURES TO CALCULATE THE NETT GROSS . YOU GUS JUST GUESS . I THINK THE MOVIE IS A FLOP TRADE FIGURES NOT WITHSTANDING.. ONLY SNGS WERE GOOD WICH I HEARD IN MY STEREO AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN ON FM CHANNELS(WONDER WHY THEY PLAY SONGS ON FM RADIOS??? THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SAY???)
it is not a comedy at all ..at best its staged play .. my family didnt waste money on this in fact we were thankful to god for saving us from this torture when we saw it on torrent download … than yoi torrents
