It must be a bitter-sweet feeling for the Bachchan’s. While Aishwarya is all set to deliver her first baby, Abhishek and Amitabh are struggling with injuries.
A few weeks back, Abhishek was injured near his right eye and received 6 stitches while shooting for Bol Bachchan in Jaipur. Last week, Amitabh Bachchan had a hairline fracture in the rib. Now, Abhishek is injured again! This time, in a freak incident the actor has fractured the ring finer of his left hand, on the sets of the very same film!
When the crew of Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan was playing cricket, Abhishek was returning to his room after the shoot. Suddenly, one of the crew members hit a ball in his direction. In an attempt to save his face from getting smashed, Abhishek injured his finger.
He tweeted on Twitter saying “And yes yes, you heard right. I fractured my finger. It’s what I’d like to call a sympathy wound. Didn’t want my dad to feel lonely with his fractured rib so thought I give him some company!!! ;-)”
Amitabh Bachchan too confirmed the incident “My hairline fracture on rib has a companion – Mr. Abhishek Bachchan. He has had a hairline fracture on his finger on shoot in Jaipur for ‘Bol Bachchan’. Was on his way to the Hotel after pack up and the crew playing cricket hit a ball in his direction, which he tried to prevent from hitting his face and damaged his finger. Its got a fracture and he is in a splint and bandage, but operational!!”
