The two leading stars of ‘Aisha’ were announced to star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming film after Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Unfortunately, Abhay Deol, who was earlier confirmed to play the male lead, has decided to opt out of the project.
Reason – The movie was supposed to go on floors early this month, but has once again been delayed. Sources say, Abhay couldn’t wait any longer and eventually decided to quit. Buzz is that Sonam Kapoor too might step out.
When quizzed Santhoshi confirmed that Abhay is no longer in the film. The director, who visited Dubai in search of locations for the film, plans to start shooting in March.
Santoshi also promised to announce the replacement for Abhay Deol in the next few days.
