ABCD Box Office Collections: Day 1

ABCD Anybody Can Dance opened to a fantastic response on Friday morning and managed to beat a big film like Special 26. But collections dropped steadily from the afternoon and evening shows. The collections of ABCD are about half of Special 26 on it’s first day.

But given the fact that ABCD was a much smaller film and released on just 900 odd screens, the first day business of around Rs 4.25 crores, is very good.

ABCD Any Body Can Dance starring dance icon Prabhu Deva also had the advantage of being a 3D film and the response on screens where it released on 3D was good.

Special 26 was the first choice at big city multiplexes, while ABCD did well on single screens.
