After the super-success of Rajneeti, Prakash Jha has already started working on his next titled Aarakshan, a film on Student Politics and Job Reservations. While part of the Rajneeti cast has been retained, the big news is, Jha has signed on Amitabh Bachchan to play an important role in the film.
Apart from Bachchan, Ajay Devgan and Manoj Bajpai will be a part of the cast. The director is keen on casting Katrina Kaif, once again, for the role of the female lead and is waiting for her to return from Spain “Jha has been very impressed with the hard work and dedication that Katrina showed in Raajneeti. He is keen to have her on board once again for his next and wanted to discuss the film with her. But guess that will have to wait till Katrina comes back from Spain” says a source.
The film will be shot in Bhopal and is expected to release late 2011.
