Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan has praised Raam Reddy’s National Award-winning Kannada language film ‘Thithi’. The actor has also lauded the ‘unbelievable’ performances of a cast that doesn’t have a single actor.

Produced by Pratap Reddy and Sunmin Park, ‘Thithi’ was screened in over 12 prestigious international and national film festivals and won 13 awards.
The film is a dramatic comedy about how three generations of sons react to the death of the oldest in their clan, a man named Century Gowda: a locally renowned, highly cantankerous 101-year-old man.
Set in a small village in Karnataka, the three storylines intertwine before converging at Century Gowda’s ‘thithi’ – the final funeral ceremony, 11 days after a death.

I am from Karnataka and there are many good kannada films which don’t get any audience and appreciation outside kannada speaking areas like other tamil and telugu films get, i hope more good kannada films get this kind of appreciation in future. BTW I recommend u guys plz watch movies like LUCIA, ULIDAVARU KANDANTHE and RANGITHARANGA if you are a movie lover.
