Dangal has collected approximately 155 crore in 5 days, the average per day collection is a mind-boggling 31 crore.
Earlier, Dangal became the only film this year to cross the 40 crore mark on a single day.

Dangal is only about women empowerment. Trying to show what women are capable of when actually majority of young women do nothing, but dream of getting a husband who is going to provide everything to them in real life. Whereas Sultan is about a fight that lies within. It is about not giving up in life when you are going through hell and rising above all odds. For me Sultan is a better movie. Only thing I didn’t like about Sultan is how the movie shifted from pure wrestling background to Mixed Martial Art. That is a different sport. Or else it would have at least crossed BB collections. I think Sultan would have made even more money if it came on Christmas with 3-5 open weeks.

Dangal is a movie which slowly grows on you. The more you watch the more you keep think about it and feel the goosebumps.
