Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is now the proud owner of the new Bajaj V, a motorcycle which contains metal of India’s de-commissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
Aamir was inspired to buy the V15 when he learnt that the new launch from Bajaj contains metal from INS Vikrant, which played a role in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
When Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto, got to know that Aamir, a personal friend, had placed an order for a V15, he contacted Aamir and decided to have a unique customisation done for his Bajaj V.
The new V made for Aamir has a customized embossing of the initial A on the fuel tank and one-off graphic design of “Chote Lal” affectionately inscribed on the rear seat cowl.
Bajaj met Aamir at his residence here and personally handed over his customised V15 to him.
The ‘Dangal’ star was delighted to receive his new bike. He released a statement saying ”The V is a special bike and I wouldn’t compare it with anything else. It has a piece of history ingrained into it. For me, it’s a proud moment to own a piece of metal from INS Vikrant which was the military pride of India for decades.”
The launch of V was announced by Bajaj in February this year. V is a 150cc commuter bike differentiated by its solid form and stand tall proportions.

So after a long time there is an article about Aamir Khan . INS Vikrant played an instrumental role in the Indo-Pak War of 1971 and it is great to see Bajaj making such an impact with this Bike . The Bike is looking superb and now Aamir is the proud owner of V15 and he can proudly say he has a bike which is not ordinary but extraordinary . Bajaj is one of the most trusted Indian Automobile Brands and I hope they get much more success in the future as they completely deserve it .

When it comes to SRK, for me it is more of a “Passionate” kind of relationship. It is a “connection” of which the exact reason is difficult to explain. He is a great actor that is one reason obviously. In easier words they have explained in Fan as “connection bas hogaya to hogaya”. The connection which established upon watching movies like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Bazigar and Darr and still remain same.
But when it comes to Amir it is easier to explain coz it is a relationship of “Respect”. Pure respect which he has earned from a hardcore SRK fan like me over the years through doing top quality movies.
He has always followed his own unique path (different from other top stars) by doing fewer movies and putting in incredible amount of hardwork and research. People say it is easier to do 1 movie in 2 years but I feel it is a very risky strategy coz after 2 years if ur movie fails then it is like so much time wasted and no gain at all. So Amir has been brave to follow that risky strategy.
After QSQT he did some poor movies. But since Rangeela (in 1995) he has been very consistent when it comes to doing content based and quality movies. In that period he has done only 2 poor movies (Mann and Mela) and two ok movies for me (Raja Hindustani and Dhoom 3). Even in masala movies like Ghajini and Dhoom 3 he has proved his mettle.
He has remained focus on quality and in the last 10 years especially has received tremendous award at box office by delivering superhits and ATBBs one after another.
Dangal should be another extra ordinary movie. I just wish he does one movie at least each year coz waiting for 2 years for his movies becomes unbearable.
