Tamil filmmaker Shankar has confirmed that the cast and crew of his upcoming film ‘2.0’ (sequel of Robot / Enthiran) have wrapped up around 50% of the film’s shoot.
“100th day of 2.o shoot. Ufff… Finished two major action sequences including the climax with superstar and Akshay. Loading 50%” Shankar said.
“Some important sequences are being shot in prime locations in Chennai. Since Akshay is in disguise, shooting even in crowded places isn’t challenging for the team”
Meanwhile, Rajnikanth is currently holidaying in the US. He will return to India in the first week of July and begin the next schedule of the film.
Robot 2.0 will release in theatres next year. The film stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead.

This movie will be huge flop in Indian film history beating Bombay velvet. Even bombay velvet has lose only 100 creative but it will definitely loss 300 cr.

So Shankar knows Akshay is not a genuine superstar only Rajnikant Lol. He is very right. Atleast with Rajnikant, Akshay fans can now start a new cycle by aiming for 135 cr and above. No way it will reach 200 cr with its Hindi version at box office. It will trend the same with Bahubali Hindi version or slightly more.

Robot 2.0 is something which is massive and huge . It is the most expensive movie made in India and this is the biggest reason why I am excited . Akshay has dedicated 200 days for 2.0 which is unexpected because normally Akshay only gives 60 or 70 days for a particular movie . Movies like Baahubali, Shivaay, Mohenjo Daro and Robot 2.0 cannot be completed in 2 to 3 months . According to reliable sources the first look of 2.0 will be released in September . I am waiting to know the release date of 2.0 as it definitely needs a EDX Festival because of its humongous budget, massive scale and granduer . One of the Biggest Contenders for HGOTY 2017 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
