Less than a week to go for the release of 3 Idiots and the hype is surprisingly missing this time around, or is it? Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani, is by far the biggest release of the year.
Expecting the movie to break Ghajini’s record is unfair, since 3 Idiots doesn’t really carry mass appeal of a Ghajini or a Wanted, and is expected to perform much better at multiplexes than single screens. Yet, we expect a film starring Aamir Khan to easily break opening week and weekend records, currently held by Love Aaj Kal, for the year.
