It’s been a difficult journey for Ajay Devgn, the producer, director and actor of the upcoming Diwali release ‘Shivaay’. Eros backed out of the film, putting the financial risk on Ajay himself. While most other films have other investors and actors (box office point of view) to share the burden, ‘Shivaay’ has been Ajay’s show all the way.
The clash with ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has been filled with controversies, in fact it could possibly be the ugliest clash ever. But with 10 days to go for the release of the film, it all comes down to content.
It’s going to be about the movie finding acceptance amongst the audience, as a lot of money is riding on the film and the risk is on Ajay himself.
The trailer got a phenomenal response, the music has only just begun to gain popularity, will the film live upto expectations?

But personally want adhm to collect more than Shivaay

Regarding the ban on Adhm..Nice way to try to be relevant for MNS in the political scenario by creating these kinds of ruckus.
BTW the common sentiment on many social networking site is by watching the movie you’re disrespecting the soldiers.Can anyone please tell me a soldier protecting us in the border will his life change for the better if we boycott a movie starring Ranbir and Anushka with a Pakistani actor having a small role shot when the relationship between these two countries was good and there was cultural exchange between two countries.In fact government earns lot of money through entertainment tax which can be utilised for development purposes
If you want to do something for the armed forces do something which makes your country proud and maybe reach out to families of the bereaved soldiers rather than sitting in front of your laptop screens,creating hashtags taking law in your own hands and giving patriotism lecture.
My prediction for Shivaay & ADHM :
Shivaay – 150 cr plus (may go upto 200 cr incase of extraordinary WOM)
ADHM – 90 cr plus (upto 120 cr in case of very positive WOM)
Combined bussiness should be 220 – 250 (if both are received well).

If WOM is extraordinary like Bahubali has generated, then Shivaay will do unthinkable at the box office.
I don’t have anything to do with clash with Karan Johar’s movie because clash is just the hindrance for Shivaay, but it will dethrone the obstacle. I’ve seen on twitter some AD haters, who were saying Shivaay will be failure due to clash, but what about the clash between Gaddar and Lagaan.
Shivaay has just to be high on content, rest the WOM will do its work.
Wish both best of luck….. But have to follow my heart and be with Shivaay. Really it hasnt been easy for Ajay the financial and emotional burdens but he proved to be a Man and against all odds as of now he just deserves Praises.
